PewDiePie

Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, a Swedish YouTuber most known for his humorous videos, was born on October 24, 1989. Kjellberg is one of the most well-known online celebrities and content providers because to his success on YouTube and widespread media attention. He has been depicted in the media as a representative of YouTube, particularly for the Gaming community.

Kjellberg, who was reared in Gothenburg, created the "PewDiePie" YouTube account in 2010 and has since posted Let's Play videos of horror and action games. Before it became the most subscribed channel on YouTube on August 15, 2013, his channel amassed a sizable following and had one of the quickest rates of growth in 2012 and 2013. Between December 29, 2014, and February 14, 2017, Kjellberg's channel had the most number of views on the site. His output expanded during this time, moving away from Let's Plays and towards vlogs, comedic shorts, structured programmes, and music videos.

Although Kjellberg's material was already well known for its divisive response from mainstream audiences online, it gained further notoriety and media attention in the latter part of the 2010s. In 2019, T-Series, an Indian record company, overtook Kjellberg as the most subscribed YouTube channel in a public competition. Kjellberg also developed a more restrained persona online, posting less often and frequently pausing to utilise the Internet. In the end, he chose to upload less regularly for fun rather than as a job and semi-retired from YouTube. In the meanwhile, he and his wife, the well-known Italian online personality Marzia, relocated to Japan. His channel continues to be one of the most popular on YouTube, with over 111 million followers and 29 billion views [c]. It has been observed that his fame on the internet increases sales of the video games he plays and helps him to rally support for fundraising campaigns for charities. He was listed as one of the 100 most important persons in the world by Time magazine in 2016.

Education And Career

After that, Kjellberg attended Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg to pursue a degree in industrial engineering and management. However, he quit the school in 2011. Kjellberg stated in 2017 that he had left Chalmers because he was uninterested in his course of study, despite reports that he had departed to concentrate on his YouTube career. He went on to say that it would be "fucking stupid" to drop out of college to seek a career on YouTube in general. Kjellberg has also talked about how much he loves to use Adobe Photoshop, preferring to use the programme to create photo manipulation art than attending classes. After leaving Chalmers, he pursued this desire by competing in Photoshop competitions and coming close to landing an apprenticeship with a well-known Scandinavian advertising firm. He also wanted to make videos for YouTube, so when he didn't get the apprenticeship, he sold limited edition prints of his manipulated photographs to raise money for a computer so he could start making films for the platform.
